Bookio cares about your privacy. This policy describes how we process personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Note: Bookio is a demo site — no real personal-data processing takes place.

What data we process
Data you provide via contact and quote forms (name, email, phone, company and message), newsletter data (email) and, for portal clients, data related to the engagement.
Purpose and legal basis
We process data to answer enquiries (legitimate interest/contract), deliver our services (contract), send newsletters (consent) and comply with accounting and tax rules (legal obligation).
Retention
We keep data for as long as needed for the purpose. Accounting records are kept per the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (7 years). Newsletter consent applies until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and to object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time and may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
